1. Motion that the Village Board approve the Special Event Permit for Good Ranchers of Friendswood, TX to hold a steak sale in the mall parking at the CherryVale Mall from October 1, 2020 – October 20, 2020.

2. Village Board discussion and a possible motion regarding the Federal Tax Deferral Program.

ENGINEER'S REPORT: SHERI KOSMOS, C.E.S.

EX-OFFICIO’S REPORTS:

JEFF FUSTIN – PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION.

ORDINANCE REPORT BY TRUSTEE: NANCY BELT.

1. Motion that the Village Board consider this the second and final reading of “An Ordinance Amending the Code of Ordinances for The Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois, Section 82-7(E)(5)(H)(III) and (IV) Fence Construction.”

2. Motion that the Village Board pass and approve Ordinance 2020-24; “An Ordinance Amending the Code of Ordinances for The Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois, Section 82-7(E)(5)(H)(III) and (IV) Fence Construction.”

3. Motion that the Village Board consider this the first reading of “An Ordinance Amending the Code of Ordinances for The Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois, Chapter 22 – Building and Building Regulations, Article Iv Self-Contained Portable Toilets”.

4. Village Board discussion regarding Temporary Business Signs within the Village of Cherry Valley.

FINANCE REPORT BY TRUSTEE: JEFF O’HARA.

1. Motion that the Village Board approve the bills reviewed and approved by the Budget Director on September 22, 2020 and reviewed and approved by the village trustees present at the September 22, 2020 Village Board Meeting at a total cost of $214,595.57.

PUBLIC SAFETY REPORT BY TRUSTEE: JEFF FUSTIN.

1. Motion that the Village Board approve the Recruit Academy Training for Patrol Officer Morgan Macias at a cost of $6,020.00 from line item 5195P.

PUBLIC WORKS REPORT BY TRUSTEE: JIM ALSBURY.

1. Motion that the Village Board approve hiring Four Seasons to install the Holiday Lighting in the downtown area for the 2020-2021 Holiday Season at a cost of $9,950.00 from line item 5170 Building and Grounds.

PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT REPORT BY TRUSTEE: DAVID SCHROEDER.

PERSONNEL REPORT BY TRUSTEE: SALLY HOLLEMBEAK.

1. “Village Board discussion and a possible motion to allow employee participation in a self-funded plan through Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, pending Village Attorney approval.
