1. Continued committee discussion regarding the possible closing of the Cherry Valley Historical Society’s Museum at 101 E. State Street.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Committee discussion and a motion to send to the Village Board regarding a (60) month copier lease agreement with Xerox Corporation for the Public Works Building at a cost of $118.06 per month from line item 5170 Public Works.

DIRECTOR’S REPORT:

1. Updates from Public Works Director Chuck Freeman.

PUBLIC SAFETY – Chairman Trustee Jeff Fustin.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Committee discussion and a motion for approval to begin a background investigation to fill the vacancy to fill the vacancy of patrol officer to bring us up to our authorized staffing of (13) sworn personnel.

2. Committee discussion and a motion to send to the Village Board to approve the purchase of a 2017 Ford Explorer (with a four-year extended warranty) to replace Squad 8 at a cost of $24,000.00 (including trade-in) from line item 5420 Capital Improvements. (This would reassign Squad 7, currently used by the Chief to a patrol vehicle).

1. Updates from Chief Roy Bethge.

FINANCE – Chairman Trustee Jeff O’hara.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

1. Continued committee discussion and a motion to send to the Village Board authorizing an Actuarial Report be conducted in regards to the village’s Article III Police Pension Fund.

1. Committee discussion and a motion to send to the Village Board approval of the Employees Cost for Health Plans and Dental for the 2020-2021 enrollment period.
