March 8 was a rewarding day for State Rep. Joe Sosnowski (R-Rockford) as he conducted his “Coffee Talk with Joe in Boone County,” where he gained insights on matters significant to constituents.
“Coffee talks are an opportunity for local residents to share their questions and concerns with me firsthand,” Sosnowski said.
Before the event, Sosnowski said he is excited to hear people’s thoughts and have a fruitful discussion with them, together with Poplar Grove Village president, Owen Costanza.
“Owen Costanza and I are looking forward to an engaging conversation with folks in the Poplar Grove area. We encourage everyone who has questions, concerns, or ideas to come out to the Boone County Family Restaurant and say hello.”
He was pleased with the turnout at the restaurant, located at 4481 IL Route 173 in Caledonia with coffee served courtesy of Sosnowski.
“Thank you, Boone County Family Restaurant for hosting our Coffee Talk this morning with Poplar Grove Village President Owen Costanza! We had a great turnout and talked about many of the pressing issues facing state and local government,” he said after the event.
