CALLED TO ORDER: 5:15 P.M.

MEMBERS PRESENT: Ald. J Jacobson (via phone), Ald. Schlensker, Alderman Peterson

MEMBERS ABSENT: Ald. Laudicina.

ALSO PRESENT: Mayor Jury, Ald. Dan Jacobson, Ald. Thompson, Ald. Owens, Ald. Pruitt, Ald. Allton, Ald. Pruitt, Shannon Messenger and Attorney Gino Galluzzo.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: November 3rd

Ald. Peterson moved to approve said motion. Ald. Jacobson seconded said motion.

Motion carried 3 ayes – 0 nays

MATTERS PROPOSED, DISCUSSED OR DECIDED AND RECORD OF VOTES TAKEN:

A) Resolution for the Public Works Director to hire seasonal part-time personnel for the purpose of snow removal on public streets in the City of Loves Park.

Ald. Peterson moved to approve said motion. Ald. J Jacobson seconded said motion.

Motion carried 3 ayes – 0 nays

A) Resolution to hire IMEG for ADA Action Plan.

Ald. Peterson moved to approve said motion. Ald. J Jacobson seconded said motion.

Motion carried 3 ayes – 0 nays

Alderman Peterson moved for adjournment at 5:30 p.m.; seconded by Alderman J Jacobson.

The motion to adjourn was approved by a vote of 3 ayes – 0 nays.

Severino remains on Boone County GOP gubernatorial ballot amid appeals: ‘It was all about timing’

Amy Ohlsen, Boone County Clerk, said Joseph Severino will appear on the county’s March 17 Republican primary ballot while his appeal of a ballot disqualification moves through the courts, even though most other counties removed his name after the Illinois State Board of Elections declined to certify him.
