City of Rockford Code & Regulation Committee met July 14.

Here is the agenda provided by the committee:

I. CALL TO ORDER

II. COMMITTEE REPORTS

1. Final Plat of Remedies Subdivision Located at 215 Easton Parkway. 2. Annexation of 13xx Linda Avenue.

This is city-owned property that has become contiguous with municipal boundaries, and can now be annexed.

III. RESOLUTIONS

1. RAMP River Run

This event is scheduled for August 16th from 5:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The run will begin at 6:30 a.m. The event location will be at 202 Market Street at Water Street – City Market Pavilion, Madison Street, Rock River Rec Path.

2. Tough Mudder Chicago

This event is scheduled for August 23rd and August 24th from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. The event location will be at the Chicago International Airport located at 2 Airport Circle/6313 Beltline Road.

3. Labor Day Parade

This event is scheduled for September 1st from 10 a.m. – Noon. The parade route will be as follows:

7th Street at Railroad Avenue, north to East State Street, west to Wyman Street, south ending on Chestnut Street. Festivities will continue at the City Market Pavilion after the parade.

4. Screw City Beer Fest

This event is scheduled for September 6th from Noon – 4 p.m. The event location will be at 324 North Madison Street (parking lot of Riverview Ice House and Trolley Car 36).

5. Approval of a Resolution to Open Eligible Closed Session Minutes.
