STATELINE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Beloit Health System President and CEO Awards Prestigious WHA of the Best Award

Award

Stateline Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 17.

Beloit Health System’s Volunteers in Partnership (VIP’s) are excited to announce that President and CEO, Tim McKevett is this year’s Wisconsin Hospital Association’s (WHA) Best of the Best Award recipient.

Each year the Partners of the Wisconsin Hospital Association recognizes the Best of the Best with an award that honors one top on-site administrator of a Wisconsin Hospital who demonstrates a cooperative, supportive, enthusiastic, and well-defined relationship with his or her volunteer organization.

“For as long as I have known Tim McKevett, he has frequently and consistently expressed his appreciation and support for our volunteers. He is always anxious to listen to our questions, suggestions, and concerns and to take action when indicated. This was recently demonstrated when, as a result of our input, Tim initiated major system and organization changes in two areas of the hospital. This has greatly enhanced the ability of our volunteers to serve the BHS patients, families and visitors,” said Charles Ramsden, VIP President.

It is up to the individual hospital’s volunteers to nominate their administrator for this special award. Eligible nominees must meet specific criteria and participate in an exemplary and supportive relationship with the volunteer organization. For consideration, volunteers must complete the nomination form and application process. Responses to questions are limited to 400 words and must protect the nominee’s anonymity. All nominees’ names remain anonymous to the selection committee and each nominee is judged on the answers provided to the application questions.

“After reviewing the criteria for the Best of the Best Administrative Award, it seemed that Mr. McKevett would be an extremely strong candidate for this honor, and it was our privilege to enthusiastically nominate him,” stated Ramsden.
