City of Rockford issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
Today, two community groups presented donations to the Rockford Family Peace Center.
YPN Rockford Area Realtors presented a check to the Family Peace Center for $10,000. The YPN group raised money through a couple of events, including its annual Realtor Water Battle. In addition, Next Rockford presented the FPC with $10,000 from money raised through a 5K Fun Run.
Thank you to both groups for supporting our effort to create a Family Peace Center for our community!
