Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion by Mr. Winters, second by Mr. York, to waive the reading of the May 20, 2025 Village Board meeting minutes. All ayes. Motion approved 6-0.

Motion by Mr. Winters to approve the Knights of Columbus “Tootsie Roll Drive” to be held on Friday, September 12th at the Intersection of Salem & Union Streets from 3-8 pm, second by Mr. Bennington. All ayes. Motion approved 6-0.

PUBLIC SAFETY AND LEGAL & BUDGET – MR. WINTERS
Mr. Winters shared the Rockton Police Department activity summary from May 16th – 31st with the Village Board.
ADMINISTRATION – MR. YORK

WATER, SEWER, AND GARBAGE – MR. UNGER
Motion by Mr. Unger to approve Ordinance 2025-13: An Ordinance Amending Title V: Public Works, Chapter 51, Sewer Services, Section 51.076 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Rockton, Illinois Regarding Costs and Fees of Public Works and Sewer Services, second by Mr. Baumgartner. Roll call. All ayes. Motion approved 6-0.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT – MRS. DOERFLINGER
Motion by Mrs. Doerflinger to approve Resolution 2025-111: Approval of Comprehensive Plan Services with Houseal Lavigne, LLC. Second by Mr. Winters. Roll call. All ayes. Motion approved 6-0.
Motion by Mrs. Doerflinger to approve the purchase requisition for Uline for wall barrier and fence panel in the amount of $9,181.34, second by Mr. Winters. Roll call. All ayes. Motion approved 6-0.
BUILDINGS AND PARKS – MR. BAUMGARTNER
None.
STREETS AND WALKS – MR. BENNINGTON
Motion by Mr. Bennington to approve the special events application for “Summerpalooza” to be held on June 7th, July 12th and August 9th in Downtown Rockton, second by Mr. Baumgartner. Roll call. All ayes. Motion approved 6-0.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Motion by Mr. Winters to adjourn from regular session at 7:08 pm and go into executive session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees, second by Mr. York. All ayes. Motion approved 6-0.
Mayor Peterson called the Village Board meeting back to regular session at 7:23 pm. Roll Call. All Village Board members were present.
