Northwest Fire Protection District responded to 44 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the Rockford Sun.
The calls in Northwest included 25 fires - 16 structure fires, three vehicle fires and five other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.
In all, the department saw $98,300 in fire loss - or about $3,932 per fire.
The department also received 19 false calls.
One fire service member was injured in non fire-related incidents.
