For two days in a row, Rep. David Harris (R-Arlington Heights) brought good news to the House floor.
True to his word that he would highlight positive events in Illinois with the doom and gloom often written about the state, Harris pointed out at the May 18 House floor debate something good about aviation.
“This morning I would like to give a little bit of good news to folks in the Rockford area,” Harris said.

The Chicago Rockford International Airport was recognized recently for its aircraft maintenance and overhaul facility work, Harris said.
“They were awarded that in February of this year and they were nationally recognized by the AAR (Allen Aircraft Radio),” Harris said.
