Rockton Fire Department responded to 138 calls in 2017 - 9.5 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Rockton included 81 fires - 44 structure fires, eight vehicle fires and 29 other fires.

In all, the department saw $193,700 in fire loss - or about $2,391 per fire.

The department also received 57 false calls.

The Rockton Fire Department had an annual budget of $1,499,582 in 2017.
