City of Loves Park Codes & Regulations Committee met July 9.
Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:
I. Call to Order – the meeting was called to order by Alderman Peterson, Chairman at 6:16 PM.
Committee Members Present – Alderman Little, Alderman Warden, Alderman Puckett. Also in Attendance – City Attorney Gino Galluzzo, Nathan Bruck,
II. The minutes of the June 18, 2018 meeting were approved upon a motion by Alderman Little, second by Alderman Warden. Vote 4 – 0 to approve.
III. Items For Consideration
A. Request for a Class D Liquor License from Shawnee Inc. for Bonny’s Bistro located at 6282 E. Riverside Blvd.
Motion by Alderman Puckett to deny. Second by Alderman Warden.
Vote 4 – 0 to deny.
IV. General Discussion - topics discussed:
A. Entities are working their way around the current Class F license by applying for other types of licenses. Should make food and alcohol sales a percentage of total entity revenues including gaming.
B. The need/possibility of charging fees for license applications.
C. Getting a handle on beer delivery within the City.
V. Public Comment – None
VI. Adjournment – the meeting was adjourned at 6:40 PM upon motions by Alderman Little and Alderman Warden. Vote 4 – 0 in favor.
