Mercy Rockford Health System issued the following announcement on Sept. 13.
Mercyhealth, along with Sage YMCA, 701 Manor Rd., Crystal Lake, will host a Yoga Practice and Body Alignment Workshop on Saturday, September 22, 1-3 pm. Susan Mercado, PT, DPT, will present a body alignment workshop at 2:30 pm.

The universal principles of yoga
Modifications and props that can benefit your poses
Modifying basic poses to feel more comfortable
Understanding the mechanics of the pose
