MERCY ROCKFORD HEALTH SYSTEM: Mercyhealth Gala Raffle to Benefit Rooftop Healing Garden at Riverside Campus

Mercy Rockford Health System issued the following announcement on Sept. 26.

The Mercyhealth Development Foundation is pleased to announce its community raffle to benefit the rooftop healing garden at the new Mercyhealth Riverside Campus. The raffle is part of Mercyhealth Gala festivities taking place on Saturday, November 10, at 5 pm, at the new campus located at 8201 E. Riverside Blvd., in Rockford.

This year’s grand prize is a $2,500 Shopping Spree donated by Gruno’s Diamonds. Second prize is $2,000 in Floor Covering donated by Carpetland USA. Third prize is $1,000 Cash donated by Hagney Architects, LLC, and fourth prize is a 128GB iPad ($500 value) donated by Fehr Graham.

Raffle tickets are $5 each, or five tickets for $20, and may be purchased at the following locations: Coffee Creations, Javon Bea Hospital at the Mercyhealth Rockton Campus, Rockford; Gruno’s Diamonds, 801 N. Perryville Road, Rockford; Mercyhealth Auxiliary Gift Shop, Javon Bea Hospital at the Mercyhealth Rockton Campus, Rockford; Mercyhealth Auxiliary Thrift Shop, 2830 Glenwood Ave., Rockford; Mercyhealth Development Foundation, 2400 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford; Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center Gift Shop, 1000 Mineral Point Ave., Janesville.

Raffle prize winners will be announced at 9:30 pm at the Mercyhealth Gala. Winners need not be present to win.

Proceeds from the Mercyhealth Gala support the rooftop healing garden at the new Mercyhealth Riverside Campus where patients and their families can enjoy a calming, green space where they can relax and escape the stress that often accompanies illness or injury. The garden will be filled with beautiful landscaping, interactive and fun playground equipment, and quiet place to sit and feel close to nature.
