Rockford Police Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 18.
SPECIAL SPEECH: Chief Dan O'Shea spoke last night at the Remedies Renewing Lives Annual Ball about the issue of domestic violence in our area. RPD conducts assessments at each domestic violence call and works with Remedies to get victims the resources they need. We're proud to support a shelter that does so much for our community.
