SwedishAmerican Hospital issued the following announcement on Dec. 8.
Santa’s little elves visited our pediatric patients this week! Toy makers from Aldersgate United Methodist Church delivered dozens of hand-made toys to our young patients. The church donates roughly 2,500 toys annually to children in Rockford and the surrounding region. Our patients received 80 wooden vehicles ranging from helicopters to race cars, as well as dozens of colorful puppets. Thank you for spreading joy and brightening everyone’s day!
