SwedishAmerican Hospital issued the following announcement on Dec. 14.

Gifts of Hope. Santa joined members of our Hospitalist Department distributed Bags of Hope to some of our patients Wednesday. Volunteers from the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI Northern Illinois) put together the bags every year full of things like coffee mugs, puzzle books and gloves. They will continue to distribute them throughout the holiday season.

Thanks for helping our patients know that Christmas is for everyone! #MostWonderfulTimeOfTheYear
