Mercy Rockford Health System issued the following announcement on Jan. 7.
Mercyhealth is pleased to welcome Kathi Gehrke as Nurse Manager of the Cardiac Telemetry Unit at Mercyhealth’s Javon Bea Hospital and Physician Clinic–Rockton.
Gehrke brings a wealth of management and leadership experience. She is the current 1A Regional Director for the Illinois Organization of Nurse Leaders. She is also a legislative committee member of ANA Illinois. Her previous experience includes working in academia as a Pre-Licensure Coordinator for Northern Illinois University.
In her role at Mercyhealth, Gehrke manages all operations and staff development for the Cardiac Telemetry unit and the Telemetry Surveillance unit at Javon Bea Hospital and Physician Clinic–Rockton and Javon Bea Hospital and Physician Clinic–Riverside.
