Report: North Boone spent $11,046 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at North Boone Community Unit School District 200 is up 19.5 percent from five years ago, according to a Rockford Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Boone County school district spent $9,240 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $11,046 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1661 to 1635.

North Boone's spending in 2017-18 was 17.2 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
