Mercy Rockford Health System issued the following announcement on Feb. 19.
Mercyhealth is pleased to welcome Jennifer Wessel, RN, MSN, as the Supervisor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
Wessel earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Arizona. She started her nursing career at Mercyhealth after graduating from Rock Valley College and has been a pediatric registered nurse for 13 years.
In her role at Mercyhealth, Wessel will serve as a resource for staff and providing leadership support to the Women’s and Children’s team.
