mayor candidate Thomas McNamara returns $1,000 contribution from CHERPAC Political Action Committee

The campaign committee of mayor candidate Thomas McNamara, Friends of Thomas McNamara, returned a $1,000 contribution from CHERPAC Political Action Committee on April 17, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. CHERPAC Political Action Committee has not made any other contributions to Thomas McNamara in the past 12 months.
