Village of Winnebago Planning and Zoning Commission met March 25.

Planning and Zoning Commission Village of Winnebago, Illinois notice is hereby given that upon recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Village of Winnebago, Illinois, the Board of Trustees of the Village shall be requested to effect a map amendment to the Village of Winnebago zoning map to add the land legally described below, and establish a zoning designation of District No. 3-General Business District, with a Special Use Permit for a storage facility on the property pursuant to, and conditioned upon, the execution of pending Pre-Annexation Agreement between the Village of Winnebago and George Myers and Marc Myers. The proposed zoning designation is different than the Agricultural zoning said property currently holds from Winnebago County as land located in the unincorporated area of said county. Said land is located at 11009 West State Street in Winnebago County, Illinois, but currently bears a Winnebago, Illinois address:

Part of the Southwest Quarter (1/4) of Section Five (5) in Township Twenty-six (26) North, Range Eleven (11) East of the Fourth (4th) Principal Meridian, bounded as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of the State Road running Easterly and Westerly through said section, with the North and South Half (1/2) of Section line of said Section Five (5); thence North along said Half (1/2) Section line two (2) chains, seventy-five and three fourths (75 ¾) links: thence West, parallel with said North and South Half (1/2) section line to the center line of said State Road; thence Easterly along the center line of said State Road to the place of beginning; situated in the County of Winnebago and State of Illinois.

You are further notified that a public hearing will be held at the Village Hall located at 108 West Main Street, in the Village of Winnebago, Illinois, on Monday, March 25, 2019, at 6:55 p.m., at which time and place objections to the proposed zoning map, amendment, or comments in favor thereof, shall be heard.
