Mercy Rockford Health System issued the following announcement on March 26.
Mercyhealth is pleased to announce the promotion of Shawn Reinen, PharmD to the position of Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator at Mercyhealth.
Reinen earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Reinen completed an ASHP Accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Aurora West Allis Medical Center, West Allis, WI.
In his role at Mercyhealth, Reinen will work to develop and coordinate clinical pharmacy services and medication safety programs. In addition, he will aid in integrating clinical pharmacy services system wide.
