Ordinance Report By Trustee: Nancy Belt.

1. Motion that the Village Board consider this the first reading of “An Ordinance Budgeting for all corporate purposes for the Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois, for the fiscal year commencing on the 1st day of May, A.D. 2019, and ending on the 30th day of April, A.D. 2020”.

2. Motion that the Village Board consider this the second and final reading of “An Ordinance Granting Variances to The Code of Ordinances For The Village Of Cherry Valley, Illinois, Under Section 82-55 To Chapter 82, Section 82-10(A)(1)To Allow A 5’4” Side Yard Setback On The North Property Line And To Section 82- 10(B)(1) Which Would Allow The Overhang Including The Rain Gutter To Extend 17” Into The Side Yard Setback On The North Property Line” (2823 Swanson Parkway, Rockford, Illinois).

3. Motion that the Village Board pass and approve Ordinance 2019-04, “An Ordinance Granting Variances to The Code of Ordinances For The Village Of Cherry Valley, Illinois, Under Section 82-55 To Chapter 82, Section 82-10(A)(1)To Allow A 5’4” Side Yard Setback On The North Property Line And To Section 82- 10(B)(1) Which Would Allow The Overhang Including The Rain Gutter To Extend 17” Into The Side Yard Setback On The North Property Line” (2823 Swanson Parkway, Rockford, Illinois).

4. Motion the Village Board waive the rules and consider this the second and final reading of “An Ordinance Amending Chapter 10, Alcoholic Beverages, Article II, Retail Licenses, Section 10-35, Classification; Scope; Fees to Include A Catering License”.

5. Motion that the Village Board pass and approve Ordinance 2019-05, “An Ordinance Amending Chapter 10, Alcoholic Beverages, Article II, Retail Licenses, Section 10-35, Classification; Scope; Fees to Include A Catering License”.

6. Motion the Village Board waive the rules and consider this the second and final reading of “An Ordinance Granting A Variance to The Code of Ordinances for The Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois, Section 6-41(C) Directional and Instructional Signs and Section 6-41(B)(7) Commercial Signs to The Property Commonly Known As 5778 Baxter Road, Rockford, Illinois”.

7.Motion that the Village Board pass and approve Ordinance 2019-06, “An Ordinance Granting A Variance to The Code of Ordinances for The Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois, Section 6-41(C) Directional and Instructional Signs and Section 6- 41(B)(7) Commercial Signs to The Property Commonly Known As 5778 Baxter Road, Rockford, Illinois”.

Public Safety Report By Trustee: Jeff Fustin.

Public Works Report By Trustee: David Schroeder.

1. Motion that the Village Board award the Baumann Park Path Improvement Project to Rock Road Companies Inc. in the amount of $191,753.30 being the lowest responsible bid. This is from line item 5405 Capital Improvements from the FY2019-2020 Budget.

2. Motion that the Village Board approve the Baumann Lake Path Improvements Construction Engineering Agreement with C.E.S. INC for an amount not to exceed $28,000.00 from line item 5095 Capital Improvements from the FY2019-2020 Budget.

3. Motion that the Village Board approve the 2019 Street Maintenance Design Engineering Agreement (which includes Newburg Village streets north and south, Tebala Blvd., including ADA modifications to the path at intersections and Vandiver road west of Perryville Road) with C.E.S. INC for an amount not to exceed $32,000.00 from line item 5095 Capital Improvements from the FY2019-2020 Budget.

Personnel Report By Trustee: Sally Hollembeak.

1. Motion that the Village Board approve the salary for Chief of Police Robert Swank for fiscal year 2018-2019 in the amount of $97,650.00 retroactive to May 1, 2018.
