Harlem home prices fall in June 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2017 in Harlem fell by $26,900 while total sales increased by 18.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2017, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $168,000 - a 13.8% decrease over the $194,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Harlem in June 2016.

The median sales tax in Harlem for 2017 was $4,998. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,881. This marks an increase of 2.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3%.
