Rockton home prices rise in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Rockton rose by $10,550 while total sales increased by 55.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were 28 homes sold, with a median sale price of $146,750 - a 7.7% increase over the $136,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 18 homes sold in Rockton in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Rockton for 2017 was $4,114. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,927. This marks an increase of 4.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.8%.
