Rockford home prices rise in April 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2018 in Rockford rose by $10,250 while total sales increased by 11.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2018, there were 242 homes sold, with a median sale price of $82,750 - a 14.1% increase over the $72,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 217 homes sold in Rockford in April 2017.

The median sales tax in Rockford for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,330, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for April 2018.
