The data shows that all of the released offenders in Machesney Park were men. The median age of the parolees was 35. The youngest parolee is a 21-year-old man sentenced for property crimes in 2018, and the oldest is a 53-year-old man sentenced for crimes involving drugs in 2016.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Anthony Jefferson. He was convicted of homicide in 1999 when he was 26 years old. He is now 46.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
