Rockford home prices fall in March 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2019 in Rockford fell by $10,750 while total sales decreased by 48.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2019, there were 116 homes sold, with a median sale price of $59,500 - a 15.3% decrease over the $70,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 226 homes sold in Rockford in March 2018.

The median sales tax in Rockford for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,330, approximately 3.9% of the median home sale price for March 2019.
