Rockford Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Jan. 18.
"Parents and guardians in Rockford Public Schools are invited to Lincoln Middle School's Parent University on Saturday, Jan. 25. Lincoln Middle School will host this amazing community event dedicated to Lincoln parents and guardians and the rest of RPS 205. Parent University will include information about free tax prep, life resources, health resources, government resources and tours of Lincoln. Lunch and activities for kids will be provided for free. We will have giveaways throughout the day. "
