A. Award of Joint Purchasing Contract: One (1) Ford Police Interceptor Utility Vehicle to Currie Motors Fleet, of Forest Park, Illinois in the amount of $35,020.00. The funding source is Private Fundraising.
B. Award of Joint Purchasing Contract: Five (5) Ford Police Responder Hybrid Sedans to Roesch Ford Commercial Truck Center, of Bensenville, Illinois through the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative in the amount of $18,853.00 each for a total cost of $94,265.00. The funding source is Capital Lease Fund.
C. Award of Joint Purchasing Contract: Twenty-four (24) Police Vehicles to Currie Motors Fleet, of Forest Park, Illinois in the amount of $749,436.00 for Ford Transit Vans, Police Interceptor Utility Vehicles, and Ford Escapes through the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative. The funding source is Capital Lease Fund.
D. Reject RFP/Solicit RFP: Property Inspection Services. The proposal received was higher than estimated amounts budgeted for this service. Staff recommends rejecting the proposal received and soliciting new proposals. The funding source is Construction Services Operating Budget.
E. Award of RFP: Collection Services to Rockford Mercantile Agency, of Rockford, Illinois for a contract amount of 18% of collections. The contract duration is 1 year with 4 possible 1-year extensions. The funding source is Finance Department Operating Budget.
F. Resolution for Improvement under the Illinois Highway Code for Preliminary Engineering Services for 15th Avenue Bridge Replacement over the Rock River in the amount of $1,000,000.00. The funding source is Motor Fuel Tax Funds.
G. Award of RFP: 15th Avenue Bridge Replacement to Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, of Rockford, Illinois for a contract amount of $586,410.07. The contract duration is 2020-2021. The funding source is Motor Fuel Tax (MFT).
H. Award of Engineering Agreement: 9th Street Reconstruction to Hanson Professional Services Inc., of Rockford, Illinois for a contract amount of $170,267.00. The funding source is Sales Tax.
