The risk of contracting the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) remains low in Illinois and the US, but OSF HealthCare infection prevention specialists have been in daily contact with state and federal health officials and have implemented heightened surveillance to identify and test patients who have traveled to countries where the virus has surfaced AND who have flu-like symptoms.
