City of Carlyle Finance Committee met May 11.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Don Perez at 6:45 p.m. via Zoom. Committee members present included Don Perez, John Hodapp, and Kent Newkirk. Others present included Shannon Petrea, Jeremy Weh, Mayor Judy Smith, Andy Brackett, and Martha Reinkensmeyer.
After reviewing the minutes from the April 27, 2020 meeting, John Hodapp made a motion to approve the minutes. Kent Newkirk seconded the motion. After a voice vote, all were found in favor.
The first item on the agenda was the approval of claims. After reviewing the claims, John Hodapp made a motion to approve the claims. Kent Newkirk seconded the motion. After a voice vote, all were found in favor.
The next item on the agenda was old business. Andy stated that the budget will be on the Council agenda on May 26th. The first budget hearing will be that day and the second will be on June 8th. The appropriation ordinance will be on the Council agenda on June 8th, as well.
There was no new business.

There were no public comments.
The Committee did not enter executive session so there were no executive session items on which to vote.
With no further business to discuss, John Hodapp made a motion to adjourn. Kent Newkirk seconded the motion. Finding all in favor, the meeting was adjourned at 6:53 p.m.
