City of Loves Park issued the following announcement on May 29.
Beginning June 1, 2020, Loves Park City Hall will re-open to the public with the following restrictions, due to the COVID-19 pandemic:
1.) Masks will be required for entry to City Hall and must be worn for the duration of your visit. If you are not wearing a mask, you will be asked to leave and return when you are wearing a mask.
2.). Six foot social distancing must be maintained at all times.
3.). If you know what staff member you need to meet with, we are recommending you call ahead to make sure that they are available. This will eliminate unnecessary visits and unnecessary contact.
4.) Please obey all signage and floor markings regarding social distancing.
5.) All meetings between the public and the staff will be held in large conference rooms where social distancing can be maintained. There will be no meetings in individual staff members offices. If conference rooms are occupied, you may be asked to wait until they are available or return at a different time.
When/if these restrictions are lifted, the City will post a further public notification.
