As of May 31, there have been 35 Boone County residents in their sixties who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 328 residents in their sixties in the county who had been tested, meaning that 10 percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through May 31, there have been 452 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 17 deaths from the coronavirus in Boone County.
