Analysis: Loves Park pays $4.81 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Loves Park Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 82.8 percent of the $1,426,284 the Loves Park Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.81 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Rockford Sun analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Loves Park contributed $1,181,000 to the fund, which saw a $233,822 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $245,284, or 17.2 percent, in 2018.
