Graduates earn 343 degrees from Rockford University

About 30.6 percent of the 343 degrees and certificates handed out by Rockford University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Rockford conferred 67 bachelor's degrees and 38 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in registered nursing/registered nurse. Data shows the school gave out 70 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse, followed by 38 master's degrees in general business administration and management and 30 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management.

The university enrolled 1,203 students for 2017-18, including 994 in undergraduate programs and 209 in graduate programs.
