SwedishAmerican Hospital issued the following announcement on Sept. 21.
SwedishAmerican Medical Center-Belvidere is pleased to announce it has been named a 2020 Pinnacle of Excellence Award® winner by Press Ganey. The Pinnacle of Excellence Award recognizes top-performing clients from health care organizations nationwide on the basis of extraordinary achievement and consistently high levels of excellence for at least three years in Patient Experience.
SwedishAmerican Medical Center-Belvidere received the award specifically in its surgery center. The center performs approximately 44 surgeries per month and 528 per year in the areas of gynecology, orthopedic and general surgery.
