Stateline Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 26.
Beloit Health System is prepared to take care of you and your families during the COVID-19 pandemic with a continued emphasis on providing safety and protection.
“During 2020-2021, getting a flu vaccine will be more important than ever. Through vaccination our patients are reducing their risk of getting flu related illnesses or being hospitalized, while also doing their part to help conserve scarce medical resources for the care of people with COVID-19,” stated Julia Egebrecht, Director, Revenue Cycle.
“As the number of positive cases in Wisconsin and across the nation continue to rise, and during these challenging and unprecedented times, Beloit Health System continues to make every effort possible to keep everyone in our facilities safe. Special measures have been taken to follow the current CDC guidelines with regard to social distancing, disinfection, symptom screening, and universal masking during our public Influenza vaccination clinics. We are asking for the public’s assistance by scheduling ahead for their Influenza vaccine this year and offering them at Beloit Clinic and NorthPointe campuses only. Together we can help stop the spread of COVID,” stated Anita Henningsen, RN, BHS
Infection Prevention Coordinator.
