Mayor McNamara requested everyone keep their face coverings on their face. Mayor McNamara also announced that virtual council meetings would resume starting next week.

1. William Favretto, of Rockford, Illinois spoke about recommended safety protocols for RMTD buses that are not being followed.

2. Jodi Williams, of Rockford, Illinois also spoke about unsafe conditions on the RMTD buses for drivers.

3. Dione Baldwin, of Rockford, Illinois spoke about the recent shooting of Tyris Jones by a police officer.

4. Whitney Gray, of Rockford, Illinois spoke about challenging the administration to do a better job of advocating for the minority community.

5. John Tac Brantley, of Rockford, Illinois was not present.

II. RESOLUTIONS

A. 2020-195-R - Award of RFP: Insurance Brokerage Services to Coyle Kiley Insurance, of Rockford, Illinois for an annual fee of $29,000. The contract duration is one (1) year effective 11/1/2020, with four (4) optional annual extensions. The funding source is Risk Management Fund.

Ald. Hervey if the insurance included employment insurance. Director Hagerty stated the insurance covers the property and liability insurance primarily and also the Worker's Compensation Stop Loss coverage, but the balance of the health coverage is provided by Rockford Consulting & Brokerage.

A. 2020-273-CR - Approval of an Agreement between the City of Rockford and Occidental Development, LLC for the necessary placement of equipment for cameras at 4801 Linden Road - Great Oaks. The Legal Director shall prepare the appropriate ordinance.
