CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order at 6:51pm by President Costanza.

Motion made by Trustee Goings, Seconded by Chairman Miller. Motion passed by voice vote

APPROVAL OF MINUTES (Voice Vote)

1. Motion to approve minutes from the August 10,2020 meeting

Motion made by Admin Chairman Quimby, Seconded by Chairman Miller. Motion passed by the voice vote.

PUBLIC COMMENT Public Comment is encouraged. The Village Board will receive comments from the public, pursuant to State Statutes. Comments will be limited to five minutes on topics relating to the Village of Poplar Grove. Be further advised that matters brought up at this time may be referred to the appropriate committee or individual for further discussion or consideration.

DEPARTMENT REPORTS

2. Code and Permits, B&F

Temp Co are getting taken care of and are getting on final CO.

NEW BUSINESS

3. Discussion and possible recommendation to the Village Board to approve Ordinance 20- 21 an ordinance of the Village of Poplar Grove amending section 6-2-6 and 6-2-4-5A of the Village of Poplar Grove code of ordinances regarding the combined waterworks and sewerage system

Motion made by Admin Chairman Quimby, Seconded by Chairman Miller. Motion passed by voice vote. Ordinance 20-21 is to update the Village's policy on tampering with the meters.

4. Discussion on parkway trees

Motion made by Admin Chairman Quimby, Seconded by Trustee Wethington.

Public Works Director Hilden updated the board that we still require trees in parkways for any new home build unless stated in their agreement. To help control the type of tree and where it goes the village is considering putting them in by public works. No official action will be taken at this time.

5. Update on Dog Park

Motion made by Admin Chairman Quimby, Seconded by Chairman Miller.

Public Works Director Hilden updated the Board on the status of the dog park. Grading and top soil delivery is currently going on. Fence has been scheduled to be put in before the ground freezes. Boy Scouts are looking into the benches and trash cans.

Attorney Roxanne Sosnowski introduced Attorney James Kane. Attorney Kane is new to the practice and comes from New York.

Motion made by Chairman Miller, Seconded by Trustee Wethington. Motion to passed by voice vote.
