Dear Valued Library Supporter,
February is Love Your Library Month at North Suburban Library District! This year, NSLD is celebrating with a fundraiser for the annual Summer Reading Club, with a goal of raising $2,021 in 2021.
Did you know? Summer Reading Club is available for all ages, helps children maintain literacy skills during summer break, and encourages reading for fun. Donations from the Love Your Library fundraiser will help fund Summer Reading Club programs, crafts, and prizes.
Join Dewey the Donation Dinosaur in helping NSLD reach our goal. Here is how it works:
- Stop by either library location and pick up free supplies and instructions to make your own miniature Dewey bank like the one in Children’s Services at NSLD.
- Feed your Dewey spare change at home during the month of February.
- Bring monetary donations from your Dewey bank to the donation boxes at either library location.
- Keep your Dewey bank and start saving again!
