Mayor McNamara called the meeting to order at 6:26 p.m. Aldermen Hervey, Ervins, Hoffman, Hanley and McNeely appeared via teleconference.

II. INFORMATION ONLY

1. Human Services Department - Social Determinants of Health

Human Services Director Anqunette Parham presented a PowerPoint presentation regarding the social determinants of health. The presentation included the five key areas of social determinants which are: Economic Stability, Education, Social and Community Context, Health and Health Care and Neighborhood and Built Environment. The presentation also included information about the services offered to the community, Head Start and Early Head Start Programs and funding. Director Parham then answered questions for the council members.

III. ADJOURNMENT

1. Motion to Adjourn

Alderman Beach moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Alderman Tuneberg. MOTION PREVAILED with a unanimous roll call vote. The meeting was adjourned at 6:55 p.m.
