City of Carlyle Finance Committee Met May 10.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

Call to Order/Roll Call

The meeting was called to order by 6:45 p.m. by Chairman Don Perez at 6:45 p.m. at Case Halstead Library located at 550 6th Street, Carlyle, IL 62231. Committee members present included Don Perez, John Hodapp, and Kent Newkirk. Others present included Shannon Petrea, Dave Miller, Wilson Brown, Bruce Hilmes, Scott Diekemper, Mike Jansen, Joe Behrman, Mike Meskil, Mayor Judy Smith, Andy Brackett, and Martha Reinkensmeyer.

Approval of Minutes

After reviewing the minutes from the April 26, 2021 meeting, Kent Newkirk made a motion to approve the minutes. John Hodapp seconded the motion. After a voice vote, all were found in favor.

Approval of Claims

After reviewing the claims, John Hodapp made a motion to approve the claims. Kent Newkirk seconded the motion. After a voice vote, all were found in favor.

Old Business

Andy stated that he is waiting on tax and TIF information. Once he receives that, he can finalize the budget for a final review.

New Business

There was no new business.

There were no any other comments.

Executive Session

The Committee did not enter executive session, so there were no executive session items on which to vote.

Adjournment

With no further business to discuss, Kent Newkirk made a motion to adjourn. John Hodapp seconded the motion. Finding all in favor, the meeting was adjourned at 6:46 p.m.
