Martin Powell and Laura Durham purchase 2174 N. State St., Belvidere

The home at 2174 N. State St., Belvidere was sold on Sept. 28 by D. Testament of Robert Carter, Late of the William H. Carter, of the Last Will an (deceased) (as executor) for $110,000. The buyers were Martin Powell and Laura Durham.

This property is the only sale in Belvidere so far in September 2021 as of this publication.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, Robert Leo Carter (75) has been registered to vote since 1968 and has voted in at least 16 primary elections, records show, including eight Democratic Primaries and eight Republican Primaries.

There were no other registered voters living at the residence as of Oct. 10, 2020.
