April: Home prices in Harlem increased

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Harlem rose by $87,800 while total sales decreased by 50 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $304,250 - a 40.6 percent increase over the $216,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Harlem in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Harlem for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,869, approximately 1.6 percent of the median home sale price for April.
