Q4 2022 Recap: 3 parolees from Winnebago County convicted of financial crimes or fraud set for release

There were three offenders convicted of financial crimes or fraud living in Winnebago County released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Rockford Sun.

The data shows two men and one woman were among the parolees. The median age of the parolees sentenced for financial crimes or fraud was 37. The youngest parolee was a 30-year-old woman sentenced in 2022, and the oldest was a 40-year-old man sentenced in 2022.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Mark L. Printis. He was convicted in 2022 when he was 36 years old. He is now 37.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
