State Representative John M. Cabello of Illinois' 90th House District has expressed strong criticism of Governor Pritzker's recent State of the State and Budget Address. In response to the Governor's speech, Rep. Cabello stated, "Governor Pritzker’s address painted a rosy picture of progress in our state; however, this sharply contrasts with the reality many Illinoisans face under his leadership."

Rep. Cabello went on to highlight his perception of Governor Pritzker's disconnect from the average Illinois resident, saying, "He once again put on full display that he is an out of touch multi-billionaire who has no clue what the average Illinoisian is dealing with." The State Representative raised concerns about the Governor's allocation of funds, particularly criticizing the spending on services for illegal migrants over the needs of tax-paying citizens.

The Assistant Minority Leader emphasized the importance of prioritizing the well-being of all Illinoisans, urging Governor Pritzker and Illinois Democrats to focus on tangible improvements in residents' quality of life. Rep. Cabello concluded by stating, "I will continue to call out Governor Pritzker and Illinois Democrats to abandon the smoke and mirrors approach and focus on delivering a higher quality of life to all Illinoisans."
