Many thanks to everyone who worked so hard on behalf of the Community Blood Drive that Representative Jeff Keicher and I sponsored March 11 in Hampshire. The event saw a remarkable turnout, with individuals like Hampshire Village President Mike Reid and Hampshire Trustee Laura Pollastrini taking time out of their day to donate blood.
According to Versiti Blood Center of Illinois, with whom we partnered, every blood donation impacts and saves up to three lives. This goes to show the vital importance of such community initiatives and the impact they can have on those in need.
