A) Resolution for Street Department Manager to hire ArcDesign Resources, 5291 Zenith Parkway, Loves Park, IL 61111 for professional civil engineering services for the 2024 City Wide Street Improvement Program.

Ald. Peterson moved to approve said motion. Ald. Holmes seconded said motion. Motion carried 3 ayes – 0 nays

B) Resolution for Street Department Manager to hire ArcDesign Resources, 5291 Zenith Parkway, Loves Park, IL 61111 for professional civil engineering services for the 2025 City Wide Street Improvement Program.

Ald. Peterson moved to approve said motion. Ald. Holmes seconded said motion. Motion carried 3 ayes – 0 nays

C) Resolution for the Street Department Manager to hire ArcDesign Resources, 5291 Zenith Parkway, Loves Park, IL 61111 for professional civil engineering services for the Evans Avenue reconstruction.

D) Resolution for the Street Department Manager to hire ArcDesign Resources, 5291 Zenith Parkway, Loves Park, IL 61111 for professional civil engineering services for replacing existing trench drain on the East leg of the Windsor Road and Forest Hills intersection.

Alderman Schlensker arrived at the meeting and resumed meeting at 5:07

E) Resolution for the Street Department Manager to hire ArcDesign Resources, 5291 Zenith Parkway, Loves Park, IL 61111 for professional civil engineering services for converting a right in only driveway to a right in right out driveway.

Ald. J. Jacobson moved to approve said motion. Ald. Peterson seconded said motion. Motion carried 4 ayes – 0 nays

F) Resolution for the Street Department Manager is authorized to hire ArcDesign Resources, 5291 Zenith Parkway, Loves Park, IL 61111 for professional civil engineering services for the regrade of ditches and to see if curbs, gutter and storm sewer is needed for Shaddybrook Trail, Stallion Court, Painted Pony Lane, Hayfield Lane, Red Barn Road, Swansdown Road and Hummingbird Trail.

G) Resolution for the Street Department Manager to hire ArcDesign Resources, 5291 Zenith Parkway, Loves Park, IL 61111 for professional civil engineering services for the reconstruction of Riverside Blvd. from North 2nd to the Riverside Bridge.

Ald. J. Jacobson moved to approve said motion. Ald. Peterson seconded said motion. Motion carried 4 ayes – 0 nays

H) Resolution, upon satisfactory completion of the required bidding process and, as recommended by Arc Design Resources, Consulting Engineers, a contract is hereby awarded to Northern Illinois Services as the lowest responsible bidder for the Evans Avenue reconstruction project.

I) Resolution, for the Street Department Manager to extend the contract to Stenstrom Excavation & Blacktop Group, 2420 20TH Street, Rockford, IL. 61125, for City wide patch project utilizing the 2023 unit pricing.

Ald. J. Jacobson moved to approve said motion. Ald. Peterson seconded said motion. Motion carried 4 ayes – 0 nays

J) Resolution for the Street Department Manager to hire ArcDesign Resources, 5291 Zenith Parkway, Loves Park, IL 61111 for professional civil engineering services for a drainage study on Windsor Road.

K) Resolution for the Street Department Manager to hire ArcDesign Resources, 5291 Zenith Parkway, Loves Park, IL 61111 for professional civil engineering services for a drainage study on Material Avenue.

L) Discussion on Capitol Improvements for the 2024 road improvement and sidewalks.

M) Update on Shorewood Park and Interstate watermain projects.

N) The Resolution for Lantern Drive is laid over till April 1 Council meeting.
